TEDxPeachtree 2010 volunteer Brandy Nagel shares her personal experience at TEDxPeachtree Live, the live streaming of the TED conference last week. The live stream was held at Emory University‘s Center of Ethics.

“It was thrilling to attend the TED live streaming with TEDxPeachtree alums. As I walked into Emory University’s Center of Ethics and joined the session, filmmaker Martin Spurlock was already on screen. Twitter was buzzing with commentary. But our room was quiet – each person engaging in the TED experience in a different way. Several laptops were glowing, while other participants listened intently, leaning forward to catch every word. TED is all about “ideas worth sharing” – and receiving those ideas made for an amazing afternoon. Attending the actual TED Conference has been on my bucket list for a long time – this experience has motivated me to make it happen sooner rather than later.”
