Moe Carrick

Moe Carrick, founder and principal of Moementum, Inc. an Oregon based consultancy and Certified B Corp believes that people make organizations great. Companies large and small are routinely brought to their knees by the “soft stuff” of people problems, and Carrick has made it her life’s contribution to help people thrive in the companies for which they work. She grounds her approach in a unifying and undeniable truth: successful work is dependent on human relationships.

Carrick cut her teeth on working with groups as a wilderness guide for Outward Bound, NOLS, and Project Adventure, and continues to adventure in ways large and small. She is passionate about the role work plays in creating meaning for our lives and in the role business can play as a force for good. Current clients include: Prudential, REI, Nike, Nintendo of America, Hydroflask, The Nature Conservancy, Tech Soft 3D, the Adventure Travel Trade Association, City and State Governments, Children’s Hospital, and many others.

Carrick currently serves as chairman of the board for Healing Reins Therapeutic Riding Center and is Lead Organizer for TEDxBend. She is a regular blogger on topics related to people at work and is a contributor to Conscious Company Magazine. Her first book, FIT MATTERS: How to Love Your Job, comes out in spring of 2017 with co-author Cammie Dunaway via Maven House Press. Carrick received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire and her Master of Science degree from Antioch New England University.
