What do you do to help with TEDxPeachtree?

I coach one or two speakers each year. My primary role is to insure that their message is clear and compelling, visuals compliment the talk and they deliver with confidence.

Why did you want to get involved?

I got involved mainly as a way to give back and secondarily to get exposure for my brand.

How would you describe your time with TEDxPeachtree?

My experience with TEDxPeachtree has been rewarding. I thoroughly enjoy helping speakers confidently deliver a clear compelling speech that connects with the audience. The anticipation of “THE BIG DAY” that surrounds TEDx Peachtree is unparalleled.

How has your involvement with TEDx helped your personal and professional life?

Each year TEDxPT challenges me as a coach because I’m usually paired with an amateur speaker who is giving the biggest talk of their life, up to that point. Because the speaker is dependent on me to help get them across the finish line, a lasting bond is quickly formed.

What can you say you’ve accomplished since volunteering your time with TEDxPeachtree?

I feel that I’ve made a quiet yet positive contribution to TEDxPT over the last few years. And, I played a major role in communicating some great ideas worth spreading!
