Supporting Human Ingenuity and Innovation
TED was founded in 1984 as a conference bringing together people from three spheres: Technology, Entertainment, and Design. Its range has broadened since then to encompass the full spectrum of human ingenuity, genius, and invention but the mission remains constant: ideas worth sharing.
Bringing a TED-Like Experience to Georgia
TEDxPeachtree has been bringing this same essence of innovation and human ingenuity to Georgia community since the very beginning of the TEDx movement in March 2009. Each year, TEDxPeachtree speakers — those at the forefront of creating, shaping and predicting the future, and implementing solutions to global problems in science, education, design, business and the arts — share their ideas, inspire others and activate this community and beyond in amazing and sometimes unexpected ways at the annual conference and over the course of a series of more intimate events called salons. Brands and organizations that support push-the-envelope thinking and fresh ideas align themselves with the TEDxPeachtree community by supporting the annual TEDxPeachtree conference and its salon series.
Georgia Registered Nonprofit – The TEDxPeachtree conference is made possible through ticket sales and by the generous support of our sponsors each year. We are a registered Georgia nonprofit and funds raised will be used to underwrite the one-day brain spa to be held on Friday, October 17, 2014.
Community Partner Program
As the TEDxPeachtree conference is participatory in nature, diversity is key to a rich and rewarding experience. TEDxPeachtree Community Partners help fulfill the vision of audience diversity facilitating serendipitous “collisions” at our events. If your organization is interested in being part of the Community Partner program, please contact us by using the inquiry form. Interested in sponsoring? Click here.
